Support the Retail and RSC Talent Acquisition team with coordination of candidate interviews, meetings, and travel. Provide excellent customer service to hiring managers, Talent Acquisition Team, candidates, and external vendors through timely and accurate communication. Assist with onboarding process to ensure that new hires are transitioned into the Company smoothly.

Requirements

  • Coordinates and supports the Retail and RSC Talent Acquisition Team with related functions: scheduling and coordinating of candidate interviews, post offer screening, testing (PXT, PCI, other applicable assessments), and Retail Experience. Serves as a liaison between candidates and the Team by providing excellent customer service throughout the sourcing and selection process. If necessary, coordinates candidate travel arrangements; flight, hotel, car rental. Processes candidate travel reimbursement expenses in a timely manner.
  • Maintains and updates accurate and proper documentation of all scheduling and coordination of candidates' and Recruiters' activities in a timely manner by utilizing Applicant Tracking system, Outlook calendar and other tools as assigned.
  • Ensures recruiting practices are consistent and compliant with Company policies, procedures, and applicable labor and employment law. Maintains a high level of confidentiality at all times.
  • Demonstrates the ability to sell Giant Eagle's Team Member Value Proposition by understanding and utilizing candidates' varied interests to tailor marketing messages to be as compelling and persuasive as possible.
  • Communicates regularly with the Talent Acquisition team on status of candidates and continuously look for ways to improve the candidate and Recruiter experience, performance metrics, and process efficiencies
  • Demonstrates the ability to be self-motivated, provide outstanding customer service, collaborate effectively with others, and keep pace with a team whose needs often change, sometimes with little notice.
  • Takes the initiative to look for and suggest ways to continuously improve the sourcing and selection process and drive the Team toward higher efficiency and quality. Finds ways to cut costs from the system, including identifying and/or tracking costs per hire, time to fill, customer satisfaction scores, and other relevant performance metrics.
  • Manages candidate relocation process in accordance with Giant Eagle's Relocation Policy as necessary.
