Class A drivers will have routes for local pick-ups / deliveries of general food products to markets & stores. Most loads are palletized, and offloaded with manual pallet jack, but position also requires the delivery of crates (loose items) offloaded with a hand truck. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 75 lbs. on a consistent basis.
Driver will be operating a 53FT. refrigerated trailer w/ a lift gate, and must be familiar with temperature control. Will also be responsible for any damage returns back to distribution center and collect all BOL's.
Excellent Customer service skills are required, as driver will be interacting directly with customer, must have good attendance and good driving record. Previous food delivery or any industry route experience is preferred.
Salary: $ 17.50 per hour w/ overtime

Business operates 24/7, must be flexible to work weekends, most start times are between 11pm and 4am.

Driver Qualifications: • Minimum of 23+ years of age • Current CDL Class A • Current Medical Certification • 1 year or more Class A Tractor/ Trailer driving experience required • Food and/or route experience is preferred, but not required • No DUI’s/DWI’s or Reckless Driving in the past 5 years • No Excessive Speeding, or any speed of 15 MPH or more • No more than any combination of 3 moving violations and/or 3 accidents within the past three years. • No hit and run, leaving the scene of accident, or failure to report an accident • Current H-6 (10 year) DMV Printout, issued within the past 30 days.
