Behavior Buddies is the Premier Dog Training Program from the largest pet care providers in North America - Camp Bow Wow® and Home Buddies by Camp Bow Wow®. Behavior Buddies is led by top national training experts with a focus on a variety of proven postive only training methodologies. We combine our extensive knowledge of dog behavior with our customer's willingness to create a great relationship with their pup to create a slam dunk!

Dog Trainer

Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Follow all of Camp Bow Wow's positive only training methods and curriculum
  • Goal setting
  • Review and interpretation of financial reports
  • Cross branding and sales between all divisions of Camp Bow Wow (Camp Bow Wow, Home Buddies, Behavior Buddies)
  • Create game plans and schedules for all training clients
  • Maintain training class schedules and overall responsibility for filling classes

Job Qualifications:

  • Must have have passion for the care of dogs
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Strong communication skills - Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Effective time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Must be dependable and punctual
  • Must be organized
  • Ability to motivate others
  • Ability to speak in public

Other Requirements

  • Able to pass a background/criminal check
  • Must have 1-2 years previous training experience
