At Blackhawk Network, the largest gift card company in the country, you can have all of this and more! We are seeking Merchandising Card Crew Members to service multiple stores in the Cambridge territory.



Locations:

Cambridge, MA (Burlington, Boston, East Boston, Auburndale)



Our Card Crew’s focus is to make all our gift card fixtures full of product, properly tagged, in Plan-O-gram order as well as conduct out-of-stock and low stock reporting. Resets and Installs include all the same tasks but more hours and additional focus on moving product and potentially fixtures. Our goal is to ensure our product and fixtures make it easy for the shopper to find the gift cards they are looking for!

Our ideal candidate has the following:
  • Merchandising and/or retail experience
  • Able to work 15-18 hours weekly average
  • Able to travel 45-60 miles radius around home market during the day
  • Physically able to stock product, pick up boxes, move fixtures, stand for long periods, read/follow directions and have exceptional communication skills
  • We supply an IPAD to retrieve and report work so being technically savvy is a must!
  • Home internet, cell phone and car/insurance required
  • A strong work ethic is a must!
  • Experience servicing multiple stores in an assigned territory

Responsibilities:

  • Complete all assigned projects within designated territory
  • Participate in weekly conference calls
  • Provide detailed comments on any obstacles and challenges
  • Any urgent issues must be addressed with the District Manager immediately
  • Provide pictures of completed work and signatures from managers who approved (via tablet)
  • Weekly hours average 15 with some weeks going higher due to heavy reset times or during season peaks
  • Build and develop strong relationships/partnerships with Retail Store Management at each account
  • Complete all types of merchandising activities
    • Installs (set and build)
    • Resets (read and understand Plan-o-grams)
    • New item Cut-ins
    • Signage Placement
    • Conduct inventories and process returns
    • Audits
    • Cover stores outside of designated territory on as needed basis and/or vacation coverage
    • Ability to use web portal reporting systems from home computer and wireless tablet


Qualifications:

  • 2 years + relevant experience preferably in merchandising.
  • 1 year + experience managing a multiple stores in an assigned territory.
  • Proficient Technical skills (web-based operational portals, Microsoft Office – company supplies IPAD)
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Ability to be flexible and work in fast-pace environment
  • Strong work ethics, be pro-active and ability to overcome obstacles


Work Requirements/Physical Demands
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including moving fixtures , lifting up to 30 lbs and standing for long periods of time.
  • Must own home computer with internet access and wireless capabilities
  • Ability to travel through assigned territory to service accounts
  • Have an excellent driving record with a valid license
  • Reliable Car & car insurance
