A successful Sling TV Device Partner Operations Manager will have the following:
- Work experience in the media/entertainment space and/or project and relationship management
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree from four-year college or university
- Ability to effectively communicate with programmers, C-level executives, marketing managers, operations managers, IT management, software development, test teams and infrastructure teams
- Flexible, innovative and the ability to manage time and priorities in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment while being personal and professional
The Sling TV Device Partner Operations Manager is responsible for onboarding and managing relationships with device partners like Roku, Google, and Microsoft. Time management, project management and effective communication will be essential skills for success in this role. Position will coordinate projects across all partner and internal functional areas. The ideal candidate will demonstrate solid organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced work environment.
Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:
- Daily communication with the partner, anticipating their needs and communicating effectively to the operational staff
- Act as a liaison between partners, production operations, marketing, product and executives
- Ensure project portfolio is prioritized and manage new project requests through the project lifecycle
- Define and track all application release milestones
- Consumer experience user acceptance testing
- Product release and change management
