Sodexo is currently seeking an General Manager 5 Housekeeping/Custodial Services to support Vidant Medical Center and 7 regional Vidant hospitals located in the Greenville, NC and surrounding geography. Vidant Medical Center is the flagship hospital of the Vidant Health System. Vidant Medical Center has 900+ beds and 1.7 million cleanable sq feet.
The General Manager role will transition, lead, develop and train a team of employees with an emphasis on client satisfaction at all times. The ideal candidate for this position will have solid knowledge of Sodexo ES Systems and processes and acustomed to a fast paced environment. Must have a proven track record in driving 3rd party patient satisfaction outcomes, HCAHP scores and employee engagement. Must be familiar with Joint Commission and Hazmat Standards. This position will be required to participate in a rotational schedule involving rotating weekends and holidays. Candidate must have the ability to travel.
This is a ROSI position based this is is a Regional Operations Support ( ROS ) position that will provide support to all 8 locations as assigned out of Vidant Health System in Greenville, NC. The position timeline is up to 1 year, however it could lead to a permanent position at any time. Great opportunity to join Sodexo.

Directs all housekeeping operations at a single unit. Supervises all cleaning personnel. Responsible for maintaining payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 4 years
Basic Functional Experience - 4 years of work experience in housekeeping or custodial services
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
