Fork Lift Operator - Full-time / Part-time

The Forklift Operator operates a forklift to move material from one location to another. Forklift Operators will put away and pick orders, working with both the shipping a receiving departments. Sit Down fork lifts and Reach Trucks are the two lifts being operated. The lift driver must scan the material with a RF Scanner as he or she moves it from one location to another for proper inventory tracking. Forklift operators sometimes work in very tight areas. Therefore, special attention must be paid to the safe operation of the forklift. Packed products are stored in racks. The racks are stacked 6 high, approximately 35 feet high. Extreme care is required when placing a pallet on a rack. The operator needs to make sure the boxes on the pallet will not fall when a lift is made.
