Nespresso USA is seeking an organized, self-motivated Dishwasher to join our boutique bar in the San Francisco Flagship location! The Dishwasher will act as an ambassador for the Nespresso brand in the cafe while ensuring that boutique bar's guests are provided with clean and sanitized utensils, plate ware, glassware and equipment at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Boutique Bar Excellence Operations:
* Load, run and unload sinks and dish machine
* Keep dish room clean and organized
* Ensure proper maintenance of dish machine and other kitchen equipment
* Ensure clean and sanitized utensils, servers trays, plate ware, glassware and equipment at all time, according to sanitation standards and company guidelines
* Operate the industrial dishwashing machine and other industrial cleaning equipment according to sanitation guideline and company standards, monitoring water temperature and chemicals levels
* Report defective cleaning equipment to Bar Manager
* Ensure proper storage of plate ware, glassware, silverware, according to sanitation guidelines and company standards
* Ensure that that all dishes, flatware, machine parts and glassware are properly distributed to pantry, Boutique area and Barista Bar
* Monitor china, glassware, utensils condition and inventory levels and report shortage to Manager
Boutique Bar Care:
* Assist in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in all food reparation (including all fridges) areas, as well as Bar area
* Consistently refill ice cube containers during operating hours
* Sweep floors as needed or requested
* Sort and remove trash placing it in designated area
* Ensure that all sanitation buckets are consistently clean and filled with sanitized tablets
Education:
* High School Diploma or GED required
Requirements:
* Knowledge of basic sanitary guidelines
* Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers
* Knowledge of basic dish machine operation a plus
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to multi-task
* Ability to work well in a fast paced environment
Physical Requirements:
* Must be able to lift, carry or otherwise move objects weighing up to 50 pounds when merchandising the sales floor and use of ladders or stairs
* Must be able to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and stand for extended periods of time
* Must have full availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
