Production Worker-General Labor - Full-time / Part-time

Role and Responsibilities

PrideStaff is seeking a production worker with previous general labor experience for a production facility in Allegheny County. This individual should know their way around power tools and generally be prepared to do an incredible job in the work they perform. This is a first-shift temporary-to-hire position, Monday – Friday, and overtime is a possibility. The individual must be comfortable with performing repetitive production tasks.

Responsibilities may include:

Follow all the safety procedures and company rules and regulations while working

Follow instructions to assemble products or parts of products

Move products between workstations and pack them for final shipment

Work with hand tools such as drills, picks and clippers, adhesive glue gun

Lift and move linear extrusions & aluminum sheets to the work station

Be able to read and follow written and verbal instructions

Be able to lift 40lbs and stand for extended periods of time

Job Requirements:

Reliable and dependable

Requires little supervision

Accepts responsibility and accountability

Disciplined self-starter

Ability to work in a team environment

Flexible availability

Ability to stand on feet during work shift

Preferred Skills

Carpentry or metal work experience is a plus.

Additional Notes

Two to four hours of overtime is expected weekly.
