Qualifications:
Government & Institutional Banking (GIB) provides banking services and credit accommodations to government entities across the United States. The Desert Mountain/Northwest Regional Banking Office of GIB covers most of the Southwest and northwest regions of the US.
This position is responsible for analyzing the most complex government entities and credit requests and conducting presentations on findings to senior management. Functions include: conducting complex credit investigations and analyzing diverse credit information for loans; analyzing/formalizing documentation of loan transactions and/or credit history of customers; assisting relationship managers in preparation of credit reports for presentation to lending officers and/or approval committees; performing research/analysis related to projects such as industry studies and management reports; assisting with portfolio management; working with the relationship managers to develop and maintain client relationships; includes client interaction. Provides assistance to lower level analysts.
7+ years credit analysis experience. Strong writing and communications skills Microsoft word and excel expertise 3+ years experience with analyzing government financial statements and underwriting government credit Bachelors degree in finance or accounting
