A Firefighter is responsible for providing fire prevention, suppression and life and property protection for emergency and medical incidents, as well as vehicle and equipment maintenance and records and reporting duties.

Qualifications
A successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• At least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
• Possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED)
• Demonstrate a stable work history
• Pass an extensive background screening which includes, but is not limited to, criminal background checks (local, state and federal), drug test, aptitude tests, skills assessment, interviews, and personality profile (behavioral assessment)

Qualified candidates must be currently certified as a Firefighter, possess or obtain a CPR certification, and successfully complete all pre-employment testing, including physical exam, agility test, written exams, manual dexterity and strength testing for firefighters.
