Seasonal Housekeeping Part Time: Bloomingdale's The Outlet Store, Merrimack, NH

Seasonal Opportunities at Bloomingdale's within our housekeeping team.

Bloomingdale's is seeking a Seasonal Housekeeping Team for the holidays.
Our seasonal associates are temporary employees. All seasonal associates may be required to work on weekends, and/or on key holiday shopping events, such as the Friday after Thanksgiving, Friends and Family and Private Sale. Hours are subject to change based on business needs.

The primary responsibility for the Housekeeper is to make sure that the store is cleaned everyday for our Customers. Other functions that this position will include but are not limited too; cleaning the selling floor, stockrooms, offices and bathrooms.

Essential Functions:

• Cleaning and maintaining fitting rooms
• Picking up trash from registers, restrooms, offices, common areas
• Cleaning and re-stocking restrooms
• Dusting the sales floor (both high and low)
• Maintaining the carpets and tile floors of our store

Qualifications
Education/Experience

• Ability to use equipment including ladder, vacuum, broom/mop, high-speed buffer, pushcart, hand truck

Communication Skills

• Ability to effectively communicate with peers and management

Reasoning Ability

• Self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team. Must have good time management skills
• Ability to take direction from managers

Other Skills

• Task-oriented
• Works well independently
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency and positive attitude

Work Hours

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and selling events.
