Position: Field Service Apprentice/Trainee

Job Description: The maintenance and cleaning of commercial kitchen exhaust systems. Services are performed by two or three man teams. Cleaning services includes the use of hot water/high pressure cleaning equipment along with various hand tools to remove grease accumulations within exhaust systems. System areas cleaned include fans located primarily on rooftops, ductwork from the rooftop and within ceilings and the interior canopy(s). Installation services include the use of power tools including saw-zaw, grinders and drills along with general hand tools. Installation includes duct access panels, fan hinges and rooftop grease containment systems.

Time-Days and Areas worked
A normal workweek is Monday through Thursday with hours generally ranging from a start time of 7pm to 9pm and ending times of 5am to 7am. We maintain generally a 10-hour day and a 40-hour week. Some overtime is required. Both starting and ending times fluctuate depending on a customer's requirements but never before 5 pm or after 8am. Applicant must have flexibility to accommodate variations in starting and ending times. There can be no special considerations to work hour flexibility. All work in located in the proximity of Raleigh-Durham, NC area. No overnight travel required.

Minimum Qualifications:
Verifiable Work History with contact information
Valid NC Drivers license in good standing for past 5 years-Absolutely no DWI convictions
Have own transportation
No Criminal Background and agree to criminal background check
Pre-employment drug test
High School diploma
Verbal and Writing communication skills
Capable of physical labor, climbing, using ladders, working in enclosed tight areas and lift up to 40lbs
Some experience with power tools with special consideration given to those indicated in job description

Special Considerations Given for:
Experience in the construction, HVAC, high pressure/steam cleaning or facility maintenance
Computer proficiency
Stable work histories
Continued education after high school

Compensation and benefits:
Training compensation package start at $26K including health credits and paid time off.
