Material Handler / Recycling - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek has immediate opening for a Material Handler

• Location: Morrisville, NC
• Shift: First Shift (6:00AM to 2:45PM)
• Pay Rate: $8.00 per Hour

Principal Duties

• Breaks down boxes
• Operates a Baler
• Compiles material received, stocked, and issued.
• Lifts heavy items.
• Examines stocks and distributes recyclable material.

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; handle small components; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• The employee is occasionally required to walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance and talk and hear.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and work that requires repetitive motion.

Minimum Qualifications

• Completion of high school, vocational training or equivalent is preferred.
• Typically requires 1 years of experience working in a warehouse environment performing material transfers, put-away.
• Available to work First Shift (6:00am to 2:45PM)
• Flexible with scheduling in order to comply with required Overtime when needed
• Able to stand for 8 to 10 hours a day.
• Able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
