The technical Product Manager, within the Cloud Enabled Managed Services group will focus on maintaining and developing new services within the Managed Cloud market. This individual will also be responsible for managing the evolution of the existing solutions including continuous optimization of the product suite. They will work in cross-functional teams across Service Delivery, Operations, Software Development, to understand and map business requirements, develop and manage product roadmaps, and design/develop new solutions and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and implementing the overall product strategy for NaviSite’s managed cloud services in concert with various cross-functional groups across Time Warner Cable and NaviSite

• Contribute to the product roadmap for Cloud enabled managed services by building and managing a prioritized product backlog

• Assess the broader Cloud marketplace and competitive landscape; refine/optimize product roadmap to drive greater customer value
- Work closely with R&D, Service Delivery and Project management to ensure requirements are defined, prioritized and delivered in a timely manner

• Meet product and process rationalization and optimization targets by researching and surveying customers, conducting external interviews and soliciting feedback from industry analysts

• Help the product team exhibit technical thought leadership in the Cloud by engaging in various external and internal forums and events, publishing white papers/blog posts, and engaging in social media

Desired Qualifications:

• Demonstrated expertise around technology/services, product development especially in the managed services or private/public Cloud space

• Good knowledge of Cloud services and related subscription-based infrastructure and software services

• Knowledge of one or more of the following a plus

• Desktop as a Service

• Messaging and Collaboration products

• ERP Solutions ( Oracle and Microsoft)

• Database technologies


• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in technology infrastructure/hosting, especially in a product development/management role

• Good understanding of development process and product marketing, including packaging, collateral development, sales training toolkits, etc.

Qualifications, Skills and Education:
- Experience creating and managing product backlogs and roadmaps
- Agile and other lifecycle development processes
- Strong planning and project management skills
- Ability to understand and write technical documentation
- Skills and experience in driving matrix based processes and development
- Proven knowledge of IT services market
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work with both local and offshore teams
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Ability to think and react dynamically in group settings
