Manufacturing Engineer - Full-time / Part-time

The manufacturing engineer is responsible for performing the following functions to provide necessary support & assistance to the production & management teams.

This position is open due to growth in the business.

Primary Duties:
- Develops, evaluates and improves manufacturing methods.
- Analyzes & plans work force utilization, space requirements & workflow, designs layout of equipment & workspace for maximum efficiency.
- Confers with planning & design staff concerning product design & tooling to ensure efficient production methods.
- Confers with vendors to determine product specifications & arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, parts & evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards.
- Confers with management and engineering regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules & other considerations to facilitate production processes.
- Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential processes..
- Perform basic PC Maintenance and repair of both software and hardware
- Perform basic network/server maintenance and repair of both software and hardware
- Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

- Degree in mechanical, industrial, or quality engineering or relevant work experience

-Ability to deal directly with customers and suppliers with little direction
