Metrology Technician

Title: Metrology Equipment

Location: Danbury, CT

Summary:

This candidate will be supporting all measurements required for product development, product changes and existing devices. Will be responsible for reading and interpreting all drawings and equipment calibration. Ability to write SOPs for measurements. Strong understanding of med device and drug product regulations including ISO 13485, CFR and 211 regulatory audits. Will also be performing internal QA audits along with technical support to Production and Manufacturing Engineering teams.

Qualifications:

• 3 years experience in manufacturing (prefer nutritional or pharmaceutical industry)
• Bachelors of Science or Associates degree preferred but not necessary
• Understanding of GD&T drawings
• CMM experience
• Knowledge of SOPs
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office

Requirements:
-Experience with CMM Machines
-Auditing and reporting background
-Looking for 3+ years of equipment calibration experience
