Repair Technician - Full-time / Part-time

A very reputable, profitable company looking to hire a repair technician for $18-20/hr. ��

This is a contract to hire position with a very good opportunity to go on permanently with the company.

The Repair Tech's responsibilities would include:

��� Trouble shoot and repair ultrasound parts and complete documentation requirements
��� Under limited supervision, performs highly diversified work involving considerable adjusting, fitting and aligning to very close tolerances
��� Assembles or installs various components by soldering, winding, adjusting, gluing, masking and centering under special magnification equipment to exacting tolerances
��� Works in highly confined and congested areas without damaging adjacent parts or components
��� Completely assembles intricate units composed of a large number of component parts
��� Tests or inspects assembled units; capable of rotating stations in a work cell and is expected to have mastery of all steps in an assembly process
��� Works at a bench and walks or stands some of the time
��� Complete projects received from oral communication
��� Works in a team atmosphere
��� Experience performing under microscope fine pitch soldering
��� Experience using electronic testing equipment
��� Knowledge of electro/mechanical cable assemblies
��� Ability to perform and thrive in a continual learning environment
��� High degree of eye-hand coordination and finger dexterity
��� Ability to repair to component level
��� Experience using small tools
��� Good written and oral communication
��� Ability to work in a deadline-driven atmosphere and handle multiple projects/tasks with an attention to detail
