About this job
Our client is currently seeking an experienced Technical Writer for their company located near New Hyde Park, NY.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Performing individual assignments in support and development of the product manuals, task cards, ongoing projects and procedural changes in various departments. Will maintain manuals, documents and drawings on the company web site. Develop and incorporate written procedures and graphics in company manuals
Requirements:
B.A. /B.S. from a four-year college or university; or five (5) years technical writing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
At least five years technical writing experience.
Minimum three years’ experience in managing online manuals and documents.
Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate technical information, concepts and procedures.
Must be familiar with desktop publishing applications and recommend solutions to leadership.
