Electro-Mechanical Assembler - Full-time / Part-time

Small manufacturer of production equipment - labeling, banding, and heat shrink machines
E/M Assembler (like a machine builder with an electrical focus)
1st shift
Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm
Contract-to-hire

Will be responsible for assisting in the assembly of their machines, specifically the wiring and control boxes (aka electrical panels). NOT PC board assembly.
Primary duties will be panel wiring, machine wiring and some mechanical assembly.
Experience with various components - motors, controls, photo eyes.
Test and inspect electrical/mechanical devices and assemblies in accordance with test specs, blueprints, schematics and/or procedures as required.
Experience in electrical testing/troubleshooting (using a voltmeter or DMM).
Reading of blueprints, detailed drawings, and assembly instructions.
Basic math.
Ability to bend, stoop, twist and stand for long periods of time.
Lots of repetitive motion work.
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs on a regular basis.
Minimum recent 2 year electro-mechanical assembly experience. Want someone who can not only build the panels but also make them look neat and professionally assembled.
