Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
 


Design and develop reports and analyze data to measure clinical outcomes, network performance and methodology levers.

Investigate key business problems through quantitative analyses of utilization and health care cost data.

Interpret and analyze clinical data from various sources and recommend best approaches for its consolidation.

Provide management with statistical findings and conclusions.  Use analyses to create viable, real-world solutions in a complex health care landscape.

Conduct complex analyses and identifies potential areas for medical cost improvements and alternative pricing strategies.

Provide data in support of actuarial, financial and utilization analyses.

Requirements



Undergraduate degree required

Currently pursuing an advanced degree - Masters level

Strong statistical knowledge, including at least 2 graduate level statistics classes

Able to gather business information and synthesize it logically and analytically.

Knowledge of SAS programming with ability to write code in base SAS

Able to use formulas, calculations, charts, graphs, etc.

Knowledge of research design, including multiple comparisons.

Experience with SAS Macros a plus

Strong organization skills with ability to prioritize and multi-task

Available for a summer internship scheduled to start in June 2016

Minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA

Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)
