Optum is looking for experienced Sales Professionals that are confident and highly motivated individuals who are interested in helping people better manage their health conditions. The ideal candidate will have prior Call/Contact experience, sales/customer service experience, great listening skills, strong ability to empathize and demonstrate compassion and support compliance processes and procedures while providing a rewarding experience for the customer. This position is for telephone sales; our product is no cost to the customer and is designed to provide them with valuable services and information regarding chronic medical conditions and wellness efforts already available to them.

Responsible for providing customer service and referral interface.
Provides support to clinical managers, team managers, and case managers as needed.
Fills out missing information and performs data entry on new patient information.
Edits and corrects database information as necessary and populates missing information.
Performs detailed data entry into client systems per client expectation and service level agreements.
Coordinates correspondence and forms for print, mail, faxes, and files as necessary on a daily basis.
Generates daily, weekly, monthly reports for account and health plan clients.
Prepares materials for packet mailing.
Performs monthly eligibility checks on Medicare for case managers on a monthly basis.
Responsible for general office/administrative duties including ordering supplies, managing schedules, preparing meeting agendas, recording meeting minutes, and participating in quality audits to ensure all client information is up to date.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements


Required Qualifications:


High School Diploma/GED.
Must be able to work a schedule of Monday - Friday: 3:30 pm - 12:00 midnight
Customer Service experience analyzing and solving customer problems.
Must be able to create, edit, save and send documents utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications: 


Associate's Degree
Outbound contact center experience
Meet or exceed sales/service targets in a performance-based workplace. 
Prior experience in Health Care industry & HIPAA compliance workplace.
Prior experience working in a scripted environment.
Ability to use multiple computer applications
