Test Technician - Full-time / Part-time

The position will be testing tools - pliers, hammers, clamps, wrenches, etc...all hand tools not powerd. They will be preparing samples. To prepare a sample they will cut/saw a piece of metal - wrap it in resin the size of a hockey puck and perform hardness tests Take readings on a hardness scale.

The position includes:
Cutting metal samples with a precision cutoff saw
Mounting the samples in a resin material
Grinding and polishing the samples through about 7 types of polishing wheels to make the sample's surface mirror smooth
Labeling the samples

These would be the main tasks for this position. We would like to find someone that has experience with these tasks listed above.

Some additional skills that would be helpful, but not necessary are:
Etching samples for metals analysis
Measuring metal samples for macroharness
Measuring samples for Microhardness
Analyzing composition of metals with Spectrographic analyzer
