As a leader in the restaurant, Team Leaders will be responsible for leadership of front counter, drive-thru, catering, and/or food production operations. They start by ensuring that all guests receive signature Chick-fil-A service. This should include a pleasant greeting, accurately taking of orders, delivering the food in a timely manner, and sending the guest away with a warm salutation. Team Leaders should ensure that the store as a whole is ready to serve the next guest by ensuring that the store is clean, stocked, and organized. They should check for uniform deficiencies and smiling faces on all team members who could possibly come into contact with a guest. Team Leaders be in constant contact with the leadership team and Operator as to what is happening in their scope of responsibility at that time and is responsible for the overall flow of the restaurant. They will be tasked with ensuring we are meeting the requirements necessary to create remarkable experiences. Team Leaders will be expected set the standard for signature service and therefore must lead by example. To do this, Team Leaders need to actively show a passion for service and for the Chick-fil-a brand.  A cheerful attitude accompanied with a desire to get things done makes a great example for all members of your team.

At Chick-fil-A, Team Leaders are responsible for assisting the management team in all aspects of shift management and ensuring that each restaurant guest has an outstanding experience. Team Leaders are responsible for supervising assigned stations for an entire shift and may be assigned to open or close the restaurant in the absence of a manager; following established opening and closing procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensures Team Members follow recipes and read tickets to accurately prepare all orders.
  • Ensures Team Members are extremely accurate with weights and measurements for all recipe items.
  • Ensures Team Members work at a pace to maintain restaurant’s established speed of service guidelines.
  • Ensures workstations are clean at all times.
  • Ensures cashiers follow cash handling procedures at all times.
  • Executes proper security and cash handling and control procedures and holds cashiers accountable to adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Ensures Team Members monitor dining room, restroom, parking lot and overall facility cleanliness.
  • Perform any of the tasks above as needed throughout shift
  • Addresses guest issues that may arise; consults with management regarding complex issues.
  • Maintains a positive working relationship and treats all employees with respect while providing them with direction and feedback.
  • Communicates employee performance and policy/procedure violations to management for appropriate handling.
  • Strictly adheres to all Company policies and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Specific Experience:

  • Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Required: Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Required: Experience as a leader in the customer service industry

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in a business field of study
