Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion. We are currently seeking an HR Assistant to join our Seattle office.
 
Duties:
  • Coordinate Human Resources paperwork regarding employee compliance processes, including tracking employee compliance deadlines, collection of documentation, updating status in enterprise computer system and in personnel files, and correspond with caregivers to ensure compliance.
  • Provide support to Human Resources including recruitment, conducting telephone and in-person interviews and assisting with on-boarding processes
  • Conduct caregiver training with franchise curriculum
  • Update social media sites.
  • Back up receptionist; providing accurate information to current and potential clients and caregivers, and routing calls
  • All other support duties as needed including assisting marketing, sales, client care, and staffing departments.
 
 
Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three or more years of experience as an administrative assistant, secretary, or office assistant.
  • Expertise in MS Office Suite applications, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to quickly prepare documents, spreadsheets, and presentations; type 65 words per minute. Willing and able to become the expert on enterprise software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to digest complex information into clear instructions.
  • Demonstrated, consistent high degree of attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Must be a self-starter with high initiative and the ability to work independently without a lot of supervision. Must manage self to meet multiple and changing demands while progressing on routine tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to solve problems and built rapport with employees, managers, clients and vendors to meet business needs and foster relationships.  
  • Have a high degree of integrity, acting in an ethical manner throughout all tasks and interactions.
