Quality Assurance Assistant

SUMMARY
The QA Assistant represents and directs all quality assurance within an assigned area of the facility. Responsible for leading, driving and maintaining HACCP, SSOP and product specifications.
 
ESSENTIAL DUITES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include but not limited to:

• Be a role model in projecting and applying The Pacific Group Diamond Philosophy (Productivity, Quality, Excellence and Teamwork) and promote teamwork at all times
• Implement HACCP programs and maintain HACCP records for all products received, processed, and packed/repacked at this facility.
• Monitors production lines and performs product inspections; gathers and inputs data into database
• Implement GMP and SSOP in meeting regulatory requirements and customer’s expectations.
• Communicate with operations and sales teams in meeting quality standards and labeling requirements
• Communicate daily QA report to the management team and provide recommendations for improvement
• Maintain HACCP, sanitation, and labeling standards in meeting USDC QMP
• Maintain a positive attitude and constantly look for opportunities for improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Three plus years related experience
• High school diploma/GED equivalent
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• Computer skills in MS Office Suite, primarily Word and Excel

SHIFT:  4:00 AM - 2:00 PM

PAY:  $12.00 / hour
