OUR LADY BELLEFONTE HOSPITAL POSITIONS SUMMARY The staff Registered Nurse is responsible for the management of patient care assignments on a designated unit utilizing the nursing process. The staff Registered Nurse must be willing to cross train and float to other areas of the hospital to meet the needs of the facility. The staff Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for all nursing care provided to their patients. The Registered Nurse is accountable to the patient, Charge Nurse, Director, and Chief Nurse Executive JOB REQUIREMENTS 1. Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program. BSN preferred.2. Current Registered Nurse's license in the State of Kentucky required.3. Current BLS and ACLS Certification. 4. CCRN preferred. An essential function of this position is to comply with BSHSI Policy (SYS.HR.NUR.001) which requires, as a condition of employment, that all registered nurses with diplomas or associate degrees who apply and are hired after May 1, 2015 complete a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree within five years of start date.
