Production Operator - Full-time

Kelly Services is partnering with Whirlpool Corporation in Clyde, OH to hire for General Assembly openings. Whirlpool is one of the largest employers in Sandusky County and is highly regarded as one of the premier companies to work for in Northwest OH. Current openings are Full-time with the potential for hire. Requirements: aEUR¢ Must provide proof of High School Diploma/ GED aEUR¢ Manufacturing experience a plus aEUR¢ Primarily hiring for afternoon shift, but MUST be available to work ANY shift-- 8 hours with the potential for overtime as required aEUR¢ Ability to inspect, operate machinery, use air tools and standard hand tools (pliers, screwdrivers, etc.) as well as interpret work instructions. aEUR¢ The ability to repetitively wire, lube, glue, sort, and clip components of various sizes and lengths and weights. aEUR¢ The ability to lift 1-5 lbs consistently, for up to 8 hours per day. aEUR¢ The ability to lift 5-35 lbs frequently, for up to 8 hours per day. aEUR¢ The ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day. aEUR¢ The ability to sit for up to 8 hours per day. aEUR¢ The position will require you have the ability to reach (over shoulder), twist/turn, push/pull bend frequently, for up to 7 hours per day. aEUR¢ Able to work with components that are in constant motion along an assembly line without adverse effects. aEUR¢ The ability to read and write simple English, including following detailed directions. aEUR¢ The ability to work on a team of assemblers in close proximity to each other. aEUR¢ The skill to make timely decisions and providing occasional instruction to each other.
