Cargill is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician in our Fort Worth, Texas location. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preventative and corrective maintenance of food plant production equipment. Responsible for the maintaining electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and related systems within FDA and USDA guidelines.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain an effective working relationship between maintenance and operations to ensure customer deadlines are met.
Maintain maintenance and repair timelines.
Assist with special projects and outside contractor activities as needed to maintain timelines.
Monitor production line efficiency to help determine where to improve production efficiency.
Self-motivated; will need to be able to work alone with little supervision.
Adheres to, monitors and enforces safety requirements.
No relocation assistance is being offered for this position.
Required Qualifications:
1 years as a maintenance technician including:
Electrical repairs in accordance with NFPA 70E standards preferred.
Mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Personal general mechanic tools.
Be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends.
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Read, write, and speak English.
Preferred Qualifications:
3 years as a maintenance technician
Food manufacturing experience
