We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Supervisor - Shipping/Receiving.
Must be able to work various shifts per week.
Requirements
JOB DESCRIPTION
I. Position Title: Supervisor - Shipping/Receiving
II. Location: Huron, Ohio
III. Reports To: Superintendent
IV. Functions/Duties:
Directs and coaches shift personnel
Coordinates support from/to other departments as needed
Assures compliance of QS9000 procedures and policies
Coordinates shift work coverage in support of manufacturing and customer schedules
Accomplishes other tasks as assigned in support of our quality policy
Maintain accurate inventories
Make recommendations, plans and suggestions that promote continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Assure compliance with OSHA, ISO and Corporate Safety and Housekeeping requirements and policies as well as Plant Safety Goals.
Maintain 100% supplier Performance rating
Perform other supervisory duties as assigned.
V. Requirements/Qualifications
An associates degree or equivalent experience desired
3 to 5 years of experience preferably in a Tier One, Automotive Environment.
Systems experience in QAD, Covisint (DDL, SMART, CSDS) a plus.
Computer familiarity expected (Microsoft Office)
Good communication skills (Reading, Writing, Verbal)
