ESSENTIAL FUNCTION:
The basic function of the 1st shift warehouse associate is to receive product at the Region Distribution Center.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties and responsibilities are essential in the daily execution of the position:
•Unload incoming product from semi trucks.
•Place product in proper location in the warehouse.
•Keep area free of debris.
•Maintain a clean and organized work area.
•Ensure all tasks are complete at the end of required shift.
•Clean equipment (i.e., tow motors) as needed.
CORE COMPETENCIES:
•Good organizational skills
•Follow policies and procedures
•Ability to work with others
•Ability to follow direction
•Perform all functions in a safe and controlled manner
Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
•High school education (or equivalent)
•No experience required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Job Classification: Heavy
Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 o 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for medium work.
Minimal – climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping,
Occasional – standing, sitting, talking, repetitive motions
Frequent – walking, eye/hand/foot coordination
