In-Home Caregiver-Health Services

Location: Kansas City, MO

Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Desired Characteristics:

Caregiver is responsible for providing basic homemaker services (i.e. vacuuming, dusting, preparing meals) and personal care (i.e. assist with bathing, washing hair) and/or respite care as outlined on the client care plan. Caregivers will primarily drive in Platte and Clay counties.

Adhere to organizational policies, procedures and practices; as well as laws and regulations.

Achieve expected results and goals.Can be relied upon to fulfill the job assignments in a timely fashion.

Produces high quality work with a focus on accuracy, attention to detail and neatness-this includes following client care plans and accurately completing time sheets.

Uses time effectively to complete work within established time frames.

Demonstrates ability to multi-task and work effectively in a changing environment.

Teamwork and Collaboration:

Exhibits positive behavior when interacting with superiors, co-workers and the general public.

Addresses opportunities and concerns with the appropriate person and in a professional manner.

MINIMUM EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Caregiver must be at least eighteen years of age, be able to read, write and follow directions.High school diploma (or GED) is required.Valid driver's license, proof of car insurance and clean driving record are also required. Must possess at least 2 years of experience caring for the elderly or children. Basic computer skills and ability to use email and payroll computer programs are necessary to be successful.
