Class A drivers will have routes for local pick-ups / deliveries of general freight products to various stores or DC centers. Most loads are palletized, and offloaded with manual pallet jack, but position also requires the delivery of loose items, offloaded with a hand truck. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 75 lbs. on a consistent basis.
Driver will be operating a 28- 53FT. trailer w/ a lift gate. Will also be responsible for any damage returns back to distribution center and collect all BOL's.
Excellent Customer service skills are required, as driver will be interacting directly with customer, must have good attendance and good driving record. Previous food delivery or any industry route experience is preferred.
Salary: $ 19.00 per hour w/ overtime
Business operates 24/7, must be flexible, Includes working occasional Saturday's most start times are between Work :
Monday- Friday 4am to 2pm - (must be flexible with start times)
Or
Monday-Friday 9pm-6am- ( must be flexible with start times)

Driver Qualifications: • Minimum of 23+ years of age • Current CDL Class A • Current Medical Certification • 5 years or more Class A Tractor/ Trailer driving experience required • Freight and/or route experience is preferred, but not required • No DUI’s/DWI’s or Reckless Driving in the past 5 years • No more than any combination of 3 moving violations and/or 3 accidents within the past three years. • No hit and run, leaving the scene of accident, or failure to report an accident • Current H-6 (10 year) DMV Printout, issued within the past 30 days.
