Position Purpose:

A fast-paced Fortune 50 retailer is seeking a Lead IT Security Analyst to serve as a member of the IT Security team to maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of sensitive Company information. Lead IT Security Analysts may be assigned responsibilities within a diverse set of IT security subject areas such as: Payment Card Industry (PCI) and/or Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, vulnerability and risk management, disaster recovery preparedness, digital forensics and e-discovery support, PII data protection, identity and access management, security operations or intrusion detection. Assignments will call for the candidate to frequently collaborate with others, to work independently or in large groups, and to articulate facts and results to peers, leaders, and management. Lead IT Security Analysts are expected to design and develop programs to improve security standards, processes, procedures and solutions and to transfer knowledge to Sr. Analyst and Analyst roles.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities: 20%-Collaborate with others to understand processes, procedures, applications, technologies 20%-Drive application and technology compliance with corporate and regulatory policies/standards & industry best practices 20%-Design and develop programs to improve security standards, processes, procedures and solutions; transfer knowledge to Sr. Analyst and Analyst roles 20%-Participate in project work; perform security specific project tasks; lead large work streams 20%-Lead and coordinate the activities of others within IT Security Nature and Scope: Position Reports to Manager, Information Technology This position has no Direct Reports Environmental

Environment: 1. Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Travel: 2. Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.Standard Minimum Qualifications: Must be eighteen years of age or older. Must pass the Drug Test. Must pass Background Check. Must pass pre-employment test if applicable.

Education Required:  The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Work Experience Required: 7

Certifications & Licenses: One or more industry certification - CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCFE, GIAC, CCIE, CCSP, ABCP, MBCP, ISA, PCIP

Physical Requirements: 1. Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. Additional Qualifications: Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills are a must.

Preferred Qualifications: - Retail experience; working with technology and software; strong business acumen - Network, system or application design, implementation or support - System administration with experience across multiple platforms and applications - Prior participation or responsibility for audits and assessments - Experience leading investigations - Master's degree is a plus - Experience developing programs to build or improve security standards
