We are currently seeking Housekeepers, Turndown Attendants, Houspersons, Housekeeping Inspectors and Room Attendants to work at our Hotel Properties for the winter season.

Job Summaries:

Housekeeper: is responsible for daily upkeep and cleaning of the hotel and property management rooms and condos. These responsibilities range from vacuuming the rooms, dusting, cleaning bathrooms and bedrooms, stripping beds of all linens and remaking with fresh linens, deep cleaning rooms and units, and more. The housekeeper is the “heart of the hotel” and is a pivotal role in the guest experience. In the housekeeper role you will work closely with all housekeeping positions and many different departments of the operation. 

The Turndown Attendant is responsible for the daily turndown service not limited to cleaning, turning down guest beds, providing ice service, refreshing the towels for the next day and fulfilling any other needs of the guest. The turndown attendant is also responsible for assisting with the cleaning of guest rooms prior to the start of turndown service, and stocking and cleaning room attendant carts and the housekeeping office once they have completed the evening turndown service.  This person must have good communication skills.

Houseperson is responsible for cleaning and maintaining public areas of the hotel, assisting room attendants with general cleaning of guest rooms. This includes vacuuming, shampooing of carpets; cleaning/waxing of floors; trash removal; stocking and maintaining supply rooms and other cleaning duties. The houseperson will assist room attendants in gathering and delivering all necessary supplies.  Requirements include: the ability to lift, move moderate weight; remain on one's feet for extended periods of time; and an individual who has attention to detail, is team oriented and dedicated to providing excellent service.

The Housekeeping Inspector is responsible for the inspections of the hotel guest rooms and condos according to brand standards, ensuring all rooms are clean and ready prior to the guaranteed check-in time.  The inspector will follow-up and ensure all in room deficiencies are resolved including but not limited to, cleanliness issues, missing room amenities, and engineering/maintenance issues.  They will communicate any guest issues and feedback to the management team to ensure appropriate actions are taken and issues are resolved. The Inspector will also monitor and resolve any issues relating to public areas, restrooms, pool, and hallways. 

The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning windows, doors, walls, closets in rooms and public areas. Washing shower walls and tubs, cleaning toilets, mirrors, and sinks. Dusting and polishing all furniture and fixtures in guests rooms. Stripping beds of all linen and remaking them with fresh bedspreads. Vacuuming rooms, public areas and hallways. The room attendant is also responsible for replacing towels, soaps and all room amenities.

Requirements:

  • A passion for guest service.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that can include nights, holiday and weekends.
  • Team player that will add to a fun collaborative environment.
  • English Proficiency
  • Able to work the entire season (November 2015 – April 2016)
  • Some experience in guest service
