Must be able to work various shifts per week and be available weekdays and weekends.

Opened in January of 1940, Winter Park Resort is the oldest continuously operating resort in the U.S., and located just 67 miles NW of Denver, is the closest major ski resort to the City. POSITION SUMMARY: The Cash Auditor is responsible for verifying and consolidating all cash receipts by company for daily deposit and supplying all necessary cash requirements to Winter Park BU's.

Friday - Tuesday
8am to 1pm

ESSENTIAL DUTIES


Daily verification of actual cash deposits from each location and consolidation for bank deposit by company.
Twice Daily vault verification and management of appropriate vault denominations.
Determines weekly operational cash needs and facilitates this change order with Security and the local bank.
Reconciles daily safe verifications from Business Units to current outstanding float amounts and follows up with BU supervisors in the event these verifications are not submitted.
Weekly random surprise Business Unit vault audits with another member of the accounting team.
Collaboration and excellent communication with the Security team for the many exchanges of monies throughout the day.
Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Education:
High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience:

Heavy cash handling experience a must

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS


Computer knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook
Must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills for working with employees at all levels of the company.
Must pass background and credit check and be eligible for bonding

Office Environment:

Auditory and visual acuity to operate computers, phones, mobile devices and basic office equipment on a constant basis.
Ability to work for extended periods of time sitting, bending, reaching, and speaking on a constant basis.
Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, walking, kneeling, pushing and pulling on an occasional basis.
Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.
