The responsibilities of the Yurt Server are to welcome all members and guests in a timely and professional manner while providing a high level of personal customer service.  The server must meet the professional service of F&B items to Arrowhead Alpine Club standards.  Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Arrives on time and in uniform for each shift with nametag
  • Greets members whenever possible with Mr/Mrs/Ms.
  • Cooperates with other club staff by assisting them as requested
  • Professional at all times when discussing the AAC or Vail Resorts, Inc.
  • Complies with the facility usage policies and Vail Resorts, Inc. policies and procedures per the employee handbook
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

·     High school diploma or equivalent - required

·     Must be at least 18 years of age - required

·     Must be able to read, write, speak, comprehend and understand English fluently - required

·     Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs - required

·     Minimum of 1 year previous waitstaff experience, preferably in a fine dining establishment - required

·     Minimum of 1 year previous guest service experience - required

·     Must be able to handle guest comments, questions and complaints with tact and professionalism

·     Must have a good attitude, seeking to provide the best guest experience possible

·     Positive work ethic

·     Team-oriented attitude

·     Excellent guest service

·     Must be able to stand up to 6 hours during a shift - required

·     Must have or obtain valid TIPS certification upon employment (will provide training) - required

·     Must be able to work weekends, nights and holidays - required

·     End of season commitment required (April 5, 2015) - required

·     Knowledge of sanitation - preferred
