Customer Service Ambassador - Porter Services - Dimmit Automotive Group

The Customer Service Ambassador provides Service Department Valet Services for dealership guests while meeting the standards outlined by Pinnacle, and the Dealership. They proactively approach, greet and acknowledge all customers in a friendly, professional manner and provide quick, responsive customer service while assisting Service Advisors in processing new vehicle paperwork and guest appointments. Responsible for all other duties assigned.

Primary Duties:
The Customer Service Ambassador is responsible for performing a variety of duties as they relate to the Service Department experience, vehicle processing and maintenance:

* Ensure each guest receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes proactively greeting and thanking each guest.
* Assist with service write-ups and tagging of customer vehicles.
* Assist in reviewing Repair Orders and ensuring that all repair instructions are processed accordingly.
* Remove vehicle protective coverings and Id tags prior to returning completed vehicle to customer.
* Inspect the vehicle for stains, debris and damages before returning the vehicles to the customer, and report any damages immediately.
* Transport customers and dealership personal as needed.
* Perform deliveries, administrative supply runs, and bank deposit runs as required.
* Clean interior and exterior of new and used vehicles.
* Keep vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving unites as directed and in accordance with dealership display standards.
* Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections on new car deliveries.
* Return vehicle keys to the appropriate service consultant.
* Pick up vehicles from and deliver vehicles to storage.
* Pick up parts from the Parts Department and deliver to local businesses.
* Test batteries of customer vehicles in service drive.
* Test air pressure on customer vehicles, and add air as needed.
* Test tire tread and document accordingly.
* Maintain buildings and grounds as needed.
* Assist with shop clean-up and deliveries when needed.
* Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company's Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customer, co-workers and suppliers
* Adheres to all Company policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance and safety
* Inform guest of Dealership policies, hours of operation, and relevant services.
* Assist in maintaining the Service Entrance drive congestion-free through traffic control, monitoring arrivals, and immediately processing vehicles through the service advisors.
* Assist each guest into and out of their vehicles by opening/closing car doors, and retrieving/storing their personal belongings.
* Keep work area clean of debris.
* Follow established dress code and hygiene guidelines, including being properly identified as a Valet.
* Alert appropriate personnel if suspicious activity is noticed during the regular course of duty or of any unsafe driving conditions.
* Prepare and maintain accurate service logs and other required data.
* Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
