CNC Swiss Machinist

Job Description:

We are looking for a Swiss machinists or machine operators to work with Citizen and Tsugami machines.

They will primarily be operating Citizen machines, along with doing some tool grinding.

This company will hire personality and character over experience, but candidates do need at least a Swiss certificate or experience on Swiss machines with a drive to learn and grow in the company.

Work Environment:

Super clean shop - just purchased an air conditioner in 2011 for the shop floor and they plan to have three brand new machines (upgrading older machines) by the end of 2014.

Business: 35% Aerospace, 35% medical and the rest is commercial business (some military, some electronics). They are blowing up right now with orders from St. Jude.

Standard runs: 2-500 parts. Rarely do they get production runs over 1,000 parts, but occasionally they do.

Qualifications: Must-haves
CNC Swiss Machine Operators
1+ year experience as a CNC Swiss Machine Operator
-1+ year experience with Set-ups. Prefer Swiss Set-up Experience (Esprit software), but with the market as tight as it is, the will consider real sharp Swiss machine operators eager to learn how to set up machines.
-Good personality and work ethic - they will hire personality over skill (greener candidates will be considered)
-Will consider candidates with a CNC Swiss Machining Certificate only.

CNC Machinists
3+ years experience as a CNC Swiss Machinist
-2+ years experience with Set-ups. Prefer Swiss Set-up Experience (Esprit software). Must be able to set up a machine independently.

Preferred, but not required experience:
-TOOL GRINDING EXPERIENCE (2 candidates haven't received offers because their lack of this skill. 1 candidate has received an offer for not having this.)
-CNC Swiss programming experience
