Design Engineer

We are currently hiring GIS Technicians for a Engineering firm overseeing the Google Fiber Project Nationwide. They are looking to add staff to their team within the next few weeks.

The firm is in need of Designers for their fiber business. The ideal candidate will have a design background using GIS software, AutoCAD, and Revit experience can translate as well.

The Designers at this firm will be using the in-house software to design the layout location for the Fiber cables. They will determine the best and most efficient place for the fiber to be located. Price per foot will be the end goal to determine if the fiber will be laid underground or on an existing telephone pole.

The perfect fit for this firm will not need to have Fiber to the Home (FTTH) design experience, they only need to be software proficient and have design experience. The person we are looking for is a dreamer and can think outside the box!
