Video Digitization Specialist - Full-time / Part-time

We are a leader in the media digitization industry, based in downtown Chattanooga, fulfilling mail-in order requests from all over the United States. This isn't your average mail room job, we built a state of the art work space to handle the massive influx of orders we get throughout the year. Oh, and did we mention that we're this year's Chattanooga Small business of the year and were recently named "of one Chattanooga's most successful start-ups"? We've made it our mission to recover thousands of hours of family memories from outdated formats like VHS. Like Astroturf and perms, VHS tapes have gone the way of useless and outdated. But those memories aren't gone they're just unavailable. Our state of the art VHS to DVD service is second to none. We need someone with razor sharp focus to transfer these old school memories to digital files. Role and Responsibilities: Our digitization specialists are in charge of digitizing old analog media, including VHS tapes, camcorder tapes and audio cassettes Preparing and labeling DVDs and CDs for transfers Notify customers of any issues with their order. Characteristics/Traits we are looking for: Ability to balance multiple tasks at once Attention to detail and focus are absolutely paramount Ability to work with others to achieve optimal workplace performance Intensely organized Compensation: Position is full-time, and the starting pay is $9.00 per hour, with the potential to earn more as you grow with our company.
