in this function are responsible for initial triage and counseling of
members. Employees in this function require a Masters Degree in
counseling, psychology, or social work.Primary Responsibilities: Initial behavioral health triage of members in a call center environmentAnalyze and investigate members' questionsProvide
explanations and interpretations of benefits/coverage, benefit
authorizations, treatment plan processing and assistance in finding
behavioral health services Analyzes and investigates.Provides explanations and interpretations within area of expertise.

Required Qualifications:Master's Degree in the Behavioral Health Field (Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, etc).Must be open to the day shift, night shift and weekends.1+ year of Call Center experience.Professional experience with Microsoft Office, and able to navigate a windows environment.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in the Behavioral Health field with direct client contact.Careers with Optum.
