Treasury Assistant (Part-time,Temporary)
Description
The Treasury Assistant supports the Treasury team with administrative functions relating to Chipotle’s cash management, restaurant-level banking, credit card processing, and armored car services. The Assistant maintains tracking spreadsheets and files, prepares basic paperwork, and runs reports. S/he responds to inquiries and helps to resolve issues for (and in partnership with) Chipotle restaurants, its Accounting Center, and outside vendors.

Responsibilities
In addition to following Chipotle’s policies and procedures, principal responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

•Checking, sorting, and filing mail
•Preparing check deposit logs and copies
•Maintaining wire log, wire binder, and other basic electronic and paper files
•Reviewing and preparing armored car invoices for submission to Accounts Payable (requires manipulation of Excel data to identify fees per restaurant)
•Generating and compiling results of restaurant crime risk and bank proximity reports
•Preparing basic bank forms for signature, including but not limited to debit filters, ACH blocks, and account setup letters
•Responding to inquiries from restaurants, Accounting Center, and outside vendors; helping to identify and implement solutions to issues
•Assisting the Treasury Coordinator with restaurant-level banking, armored car, or credit card processing setups or changes
•Maintaining and periodically auditing lists of bank and merchant processing accounts
•Assisting with other Treasury-related projects or initiatives as needed

The ideal candidate will:
•Have an A.A. degree, or equivalent in education and experience (B.A./B.S. preferred; may be currently working toward degree)
•Possess zero (0) to two (2) years’ work experience, preferably in an office environment
•Possess some banking and/or Treasury knowledge
•Have knowledge of and the ability to use a PC and Microsoft Office software
•Be able to manage information in a confidential and professional manner
•Effectively manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment
•Exhibit strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities
•Possess strong business writing, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills
•Be able to gather and analyze data for reporting purposes
•Be detail-oriented and self-motivated
