Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Hospital Case Manager needed for a Permanent opportunity with Yoh's client located in Los Angeles, CA
Top Skills Should You Possess:
- Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in State of CA (Active and in Good Standing)
- Must Have 3-5 years of Hospital Case Management experience in an acute care setting
- Must have InterQual Guidelines Experience
What You'll Be Doing:
- Responsible for providing utilization review and discharge planning services
- Responsible to ensure available resources are being used in a timely and cost-effective manner in order to obtain optimum value for both the client and the reimbursement source
- Collaborates with the Case Management Physician Advisor to ensure quality of care
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in State of CA (Active and in Good Standing)
- Bilingual in Spanish is highly desirable
- BLS; Fire Safety card for Los Angeles county required
- Must Have 3-5 years of Inpatient Case Management experience in an acute care setting
- Must have 5+ years of Clinical Experience in an Acute Care Setting
- Must have InterQual experience
- Must have experience working with Homeless Population
- Must have Discharge Planning and Utilization Review Experience
- Intermediate level use of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
