Quality Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Set-up Component Part inspection spreadsheets in conjunction with the SQE
Troubleshoot parts issues using statistical problem-solving techniques and work with SQE to determine root cause and corrective action.
Reviews engineering and manufacturing documentation to ensure clarity, and complete compliance with requirements, documents discrepancies and forwards to appropriate personnel for action.
Completes and documents first article inspections as received based on the priority of engineering and supply chain. Provides recommendations for acceptance or rejection.
Perform incoming inspection on component parts, document results and provide Certifications, as required, to maintain established QC lead-time
Document nonconformances in the QSI database, assist with investigation and disposition
Back-up for QE as support for the manufacturing floor. This may include; inspecting and signing off on "Specials", troubleshooting issues, inspecting inventory as issues arise and auditing shipments.
Assists in ensuring that the site meets the maintenance and compliance requirements for ISO 9001 and 14001 certification.
Participates in continuous improvement activities and Lean initiatives.
