Join us and start doing your life's best work.Responsibilities include contacting members for needed preventive visits or tests, contacting commercial and Medicaid members to see if there is anything they need from the health plan, working on projects to achieve HEDIS measure levels and any other project work that would result in quality improvement and increased plan quality ratings.Team environment with large health plan goals in mind. There will be performance measures including number of calls per day.Individuals will NOT interact with patients face-to-face, this interaction will be done exclusively over the phone. Individuals in this function typically have certification or are working towards their certification as a Medical Assistant. Primary Responsibilities:


Limited work experience.
Works on simple tasks using established procedures.
Depends on others for guidance.
Work is typically reviewed by others.

Requirements

Requirements:

High school education.
Basic ability to type - no WPM minimum but rather a consistent pace and accuracy.
Basic Microsoft Outlook skills.
Preferred Qualifications:


Fluent in Spanish Preferred (not required)
Soft Skills:


Excellent customer service skills is key to succeed in this role - people's person, positive attitude, understanding and empathetic of our members' needs.
Ability to work most of the day on the phone, talking to members and registering information on systems to generate documents and performance tracking.
Ability to handle dissatisfied customers occasionally.
