Function as OptumInsight business analyst focused on implementation and support of clinical editing into the EDI stream
Understand strategic priorities and define effective solutions that support business priorities - think strategically to positively impact tactical delivery
Be a change leader - effectively engage and partner with cross-functional teams to define requirements
Anticipate customer needs and proactively define solutions
Recognize gaps between current situation and desired outcome and utilize appropriate resources to obtain information, consider solutions and deliver the solution
Serve as a point of contact with cross functional partners and clients
Work with cross functional partners in Technology, Operations, Training, Reporting, and Quality to identify system requirements and execute on client needs
Ensure deliverables are met within scope & timeframe
Effectively function in a multi-project environment with changing priorities
Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams in a geographically dispersed workforce

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of Clinical Editing experience
5+ years of healthcare experience
5+ years of experience in product lifecycle, business analysis and design
2+ years of experience in a leadership role
3+ years of gathering / documenting business requirements and technical specifications
Effectively manage multiple client projects and issues in a timely and efficient manner
Proven organizational skills with ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity
Proven ability to quickly learn new applications, processes, and procedures
Display a high degree of motivation and the ability to work independently
Proven ability to work in a team environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proven experience in client implementations, operations, and support
Collaborate with technology stakeholders to identify, document and communicate business and technical requirements
Experience with testing business software applications
Ability to run test cases, document results, and document defects
Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications and SQL Navigator
Preferred Qualifications:


A Bachelors Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration is highly desired
Strong understanding of hospital billing and workflow
Healthcare industry knowledge from the provider and payer side
In depth knowledge of the Healthcare EDI transactions & testing experience for EDI x12 837P, 837I and 837D (claims), 835 (remittance) 270/271 (eligibility/benefits), 276/277 (claim status)
Ability to read and understand complex file layouts including x12 4010 and 5010
Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
