There's never been a better time to do your life's best work.(sm) This position within the UHC Information Services Program Delivery Services team will serve in a business analyst capacity on IT capital programs funded by UHC. The preferred location is Eden Prairie, MN but a telecommuter will be considered if possessing the correct experience and qualifications. Positions in this function conduct and manage outcomes of various studies that include analyzing, reviewing, forecasting, trending, and presenting information for operational and business planning. They support short and long term operational / strategic business activities - by developing, enhancing and maintaining operational information and models. They also develop and implement effective / strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes. Primary Responsibilities:

Analyze, review, forecast, and trend complex data
Present analysis and interpretation for operational and business review and planning
Support short and long term operational / strategic business activities through analysis
Develop recommended business solutions through research and analysis of data and business process and implement when appropriate
Generally work is self-directed and not prescribed
Works with less structured, more complex issues
Serves as a resource to others

Required Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in business / finance analysis
3+ years of experience gathering requirements from the client / business and documenting business requirements
3+ years of experience with process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and / or evaluation of business processes
Intermediate level of proficiency with PC based software programs and automated database management systems required (Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to communicate analysis including trends and opportunities to clients and the business in writing and verbally
Ability to problem solve including multiple priorities and research conflicting and / or inaccurate data
Working knowledge of relational databases, database structures (Access)
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or greater education
Experience with Agile Methodology
Experience with Waterfall Methodology
Healthcare Industry experience
Experience working in and with a virtual workplace and team
