About this job
We are currently seeking call center representatives for a customer service/light collections position in Buffalo, NY. The call center representative will place outbound phone calls to customers in order to get them back on track with their payments. They will be negotiating with the customers in order to collect on the late payment when making outbound calls. They will also take inbound calls from customers who are addressing that they are late on their payment who are trying to make their payment over the phone. Customer service experience is required as they are trying to help keep the customer from becoming too far behind on their payments. This is considered a "soft" collections position.
The qualified candidate must have prior customer service experience. Preferably in a call center or banking environment, but experience in retail, cashiering, or working as a PCA/CNA is acceptable. The candidate must have strong math skills and phone etiquette along with the ability to type 25 words per minute.
This is a long term permanent position starting immediate paying between $10.00 and $11.50 an hour based on experience with monthly bonus potential. The schedule is as follows, and no time can be missed at all within the first 30 days:
Training: 2 weeks, Monday - Friday from 9:00AM-4:00PM
After Training: Monday - Friday from 1:30PM - 10:00PM & 2 Saturdays a month from 9:00AM - 2:00PM/10:00AM - 3:00PM/11:00AM - 4:00PM
