About this job

Candidates will join our team of Engineers working to research, test and develop high-speed, ocean-going prototypes and commercial vessels ranging from 16 to over 100 feet in length. Design and construction skills will be heavily utilized along with naval architecture and boatbuilding experience. Candidates will be expected to perform architectural and structural calculations and provide leadership and motivation to the production crew. Candidates must be comfortable providing input based on previous experience throughout the entire design spiral to include final construction specifications.

We are looking for driven and motivated individuals who wish to participate in state-of-the-art projects. This will require cross-disciplinary experience and a passion for seeing innovative ideas tested, developed and brought to the market.

Qualifications:

Mechanical Engineering/Marine Engineering Degree

3-5 years of ship/boat building experience

Design and Development Experience for Marine Architecture

Responsibilities:

Interface directly with production team to assist in project execution.

Provide engineering analysis of design, concept and shop drawings to aid in the executions of metal fabrication.

Interface with engineering team partners and management during the design phase of each project.
